For short pixies we always recommend a standard human hair 8 inches and 27 pieces human hair, which can be purchased from us or at any afro hair and beauty supply store.
We advise for a patch test at least 48 hours before the appointment. Even though your hair has been previously coloured.
We only do hair for kids that are the age of 10 and up.
No! Because of the way our salon system is set up, you may be provided with more than one stylist during your appointment, but please be rest assured this is the way we can provide you with the best results!
We only take cash payments at the salon.
You are able to cancel on our scheduling system up to 3days prior to your appointment (the link can be found in your confirmation email). To cancel an appointment you need to email us on email@example.com . Please ensure to include your appointment time/date and whether you would like to reschedule. Any reschedules that are made less than 2 days prior to the appointment will incur a charge, a cancellation automatically will incur a charge
If you would like to have your hair bundles coloured in time for your appointment, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a picture reference of the colour you would like to have. If we are able to do it we will then instruct you to send your hair into the salon at least a week before your appointment and we will colour it before you attend.
If you would like you’re relaxed. You shouldn’t wash your hair for at least a week before the appointment, as your pores would be open and cause the relaxer to burn without processing.
Due to our insurance policy we cannot use any hair products provided elsewhere.
If you are having a lace frontal wig, or lace frontal sew-in, you will need to drop off or send in your frontal (an post track + signed) 5days (No later) prior to your appointment. You can drop your frontal in between 10am-5pm Tuesday to Saturday. Please do not send direct from supplier and avoid sending on Saturdays as we are closed Monday.
We want you to be thrilled with the service you have received at HBA STUDIO. If in the rare instance you are not satisfied with something, we are here to help. Although we do not offer refunds on our services, we will gladly rectify any service within one week of your original visit, providing it is a fault caused by the salon/stylist. This service is free and will need to be organised via email or phone call. Please note, services CANNOT be refunded. Products can only be refunded if unused and in their original packaging, if the lace has been cut on readymade wigs then this product is immediately made non-refundable. Frontals measures from ear to ear (Typically measuring at 13inches across and 4inches back)

Lace closures are installed in the closing area of the wig (middle or side)
Typically Measured at 4inches by 4inches ( 5″ by 5″ closures also available).
A wig lasts longer as it is a unit, there is also decreased tension on your scalp. A wig is also easier to maintain as you can remove and reapply the unit to take care of it
Place one end of the tape in the middle of your hairline, then take the other end around your head until both ends meet. (Measurement should be between 20inches – 25/26inches)
Front to nape
Place one end of the tape in the middle of your hairline, then extend the other end going across to the back of your head towards your neck. (Measurement should be between 11inches – 17inches)
Ear to ear
Place one end of the tape next to the start of your ear (next to side burn), then extend across hairline/forehead, to the other ear. (Measurement should be between 10inches to 13″)
You have a choice of Got2b glue or bold hold glue.
Got2b is not a strong glue but rather a safer gel alternative which can easily be reapplied yourself and can last up to 5 days with careful wrapping you use glue
Bold hold is a stronger alternative and can last 2-3 weeks
How long it lasts depends on your skin type and hairline – lasts may vary
Your wig will ship the same working day if ordered on a working day before 1pm. If you order on a weekend your order will ship the following working day. If you order after 1pm your order will ship the following working day.
When your order is complete and ready to ship you will receive a shipment confirmation via email.
Another email from DHL containing shipment details like your tracking number. This number can be used to track the order. If you have any issues with the tracking number please contact us via email.
All orders must be shipped. We do not allow pickups.
Please refer to the sizing chart. Use a soft measuring tape to determine your circumference. Pin or braid hair as flat as possible before taking your measurements. This will eliminate bulges that distort head contour. Do not use measurements done with box braids, or a sew in. This can distort your measurements. Resulting in an ill fitting wig. Flat braids or a ponytail will give you the most accurate circumstance.
We can attempt to make a change to your order, if your wig has not been picked up. Depending on the volume and time of the year. We may not be able to make changes to your order. If you’d like to cancel your order after it’s been shipped. It will have to be shipped back by yourself within 3 days. We can only ship to the address entered at checkout. While we try our best to get your wig to you as quick as possible, sometimes human error can occur while fulfilling an order. If we’ve made an error, contact us via email – email@example.com
We will make sure to do everything to fix the error as quickly as possible.
We do offer refunds and exchanges if the wig is returned unworn, with the lace uncut and in original packaging. There should be no amendments done to wig. No heat should be applied, lace plucked or any makeup on the lace or washed.The wig must be returned within 3 days of delivery date . Wigs not returned on or before 3 days will not be accepted and will be returned. If you’ve requested for the lace to be cut by us. Your wig can not be refunded or exchanged. If you’ve requested a custom colour on your wig. The wig can not be returned or exchanged even with the lace intact. Upon return the wig will be examined. If in the same condition as it was sent. A refund excluding shipping fees will be refund.
If we find an error with the wig e.g lace cut or makeup stains. We will not accept the wig. It will be shipped back.
Our new salon isn’t ready just yet, we should be back taking appointments as soon as possible. For now you can purchase a unit of your choice, or contact us regarding to the wigs you already have.
